Several partnerships with industrial companies, such as MICHELIN, IFPEN, SAFRAN, Materials Design and L'OREAL, are ongoing. PhD students supervised by ICP researchers are working on joint projects.
The culture of research valorization at ICP is reflected in regular patent filings and operating licenses. For example, an instrument (NanoIR) developed at ICP is distributed by the Anasys Instruments company, based in Santa-Barbara (California), with a partnership from ICP.
Start-ups from ICP have also been created:
2005 : creation of ALYXAN
2017 : creation of TERATONICS
2017 : creation of BICHROMATICS
2019 : creation of COCApEC
About fifteen patents or patent extensions have been filed with European or international extension. The license agreement with Materials Design, which distributes the GIBBS code, developed in the TheoSim group in collaboration with IFPEN, can be mentioned.
ICP work on valorization is regularly rewarded:
2018 : 2nd price in Cosmetic Victories competition
2018 : TERATONICS awarded in the DeepTech4Good program
2019 : TERATONICS national i-Lab competition
2019 : COCApEC IncubAlliance award at the 1st WILLA Boost for Women in Deep Tech
