There are many collaborations between the scientific groups in the Institute. For the period 2020-2025, we identified two transverse research axes. They propose an integrative approach of a scientific question which require the skills of several groups. The two projects concern the damage processes induced by radiation on biomolecules, but they are focused on very different objects and time scales.
The transverse axis 1 is interested in the responses of systems at extremely short times (sub-nanosecond). The transverse axis 2 is interested in the long time mapping of the damages and in the understanding of the factors (structural, chemical, ...) leading to the reaction pathways variations observed for the primary species.
