The TEMiC group studies electron transfer reactions in condensed phases and at nanostructured interfaces using original kinetic, electrochemical, and spectroscopic methods developed around two radiolysis platforms: the pulsed radiolysis platform (ELYSE) and the stationary panoramic irradiator at ICP, highlighting the group's international recognition in radiation chemistry. The systems studied range from ultrafast fundamental chemical reactions, from sub-ps to ns timescales, in irradiated solvents (radioactive waste, oxidative stress in biological molecules), to the synthesis and characterization of metal and semiconductor nanoparticles, nanostructured conducting and conjugated polymers, and polyoxometalates. These researches provide innovative solutions in solar energy conversion and the development of fuel cells through photo- and electro-catalysis, with applications in diverse fields: green energy production and storage in the form of hydrogen, and air and water purification for sustainable development.

The TEMiC group (Electron Transfer in Condensed Phase) is structured around three main research themes: ACHILE (Fundamental chemical processes in Condensed Phase), EPEC (Electrochemistry and PhotoElectroChemistry), and INPACT (Photo- and Electro-Active Interfaces and Nanomaterials).
