INPACT

The INPACT team focuses on a variety of current topics, including green energy conversion and storage, as well as environmental pollution remediation, through fundamental and applied studies of charge carrier dynamics, interfacial photophysical phenomena, photoelectrochemistry, and the plasmonic properties of nanoparticles. We synthesize metallic nanoparticles, inorganic semiconductors (TiO2-based photocatalysts, perovskites, etc.), conjugated polymer nanostructures, and composite materials.

The team employs advanced synthesis and characterization techniques:

                • Radiolysis (60Co panoramic gamma source and ELYSE electron beam)
                • Transient Absorption Spectroscopy (TAS)
                • Time-Resolved Microwave Conductivity (TRMC)
                • Sum-Frequency Generation Spectroscopy (SFG) (Héméra)
                • Photocatalytic Action Spectroscopy (AS)
                • High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)
                • Gas Chromatography (GC)
                • Total Organic Carbon (TOC)
                • Electrochemistry (voltammetry, EIS, etc.)
                • UV-Vis-IR Spectroscopy

The team’s projects fall into two main application areas: sustainable development and health. In the field of sustainable development, the projects focus on:
